From robotic arms on precision production lines to companion assistants in the home, from cutting-edge exploration in laboratories to practical applications across industries—embodied AI robots are transitioning from science fiction to industrial reality at an unprecedented pace. At their core, they are no longer simple automation tools but are evolving into "intelligent agents" capable of perceiving, thinking, and interacting with the physical world in complex ways. Driven by both technology and real-world scenarios, the boundary between humans and machines is undergoing profound dissolution and reconfiguration.
This journey represents both the ultimate challenge of AI's "embodiment"—extending from the digital realm into the physical world—and the bold leap of the robotics industry from single-function devices to general-purpose intelligence. It is propelled by a series of exciting technological breakthroughs: from VLA (Vision-Language-Action) model architectures that unify perception, decision-making, and action, to world models that build a physical understanding of the environment; from the coordination of "large and small brains" enabling dexterous motion, to the localization of key components for scalable cost control; from simulation and digital twins accelerating training iteration, to edge computing and real-time control ensuring reliable operation. Each technological advancement reshapes the boundaries and application landscape of robotics.
However, the path toward an era of "human-machine symbiosis" is fraught with challenges. We face a fourfold interplay of "form, scenario, ecosystem, and technology": In what form should robots integrate into human society? Which high-value scenarios can first achieve commercial closure? Will the industrial ecosystem move toward open-source collaboration or vertical integration? How will underlying technological pathways converge or diverge? The answers to these questions will define the global intelligent robotics industry's landscape and height for the next decade.
It is against this backdrop that the 4th Embossed Intelligent Robot Industry Development Forum 2026 emerges. With the theme "Human-Machine Symbiosis, Blurring Boundaries," this forum aims to build a high-end platform where forward-thinking ideas and pragmatic industry insights collide. We will bring together world-leading scientists, entrepreneurs, engineers, and investors to conduct systematic discussions—from the "Revolution of Large & Small Brains and Virtual-Real Integration" at the upper level, to the "Key Technologies and Engineering" breakthroughs at the foundational level.
